Partnership opportunity

WRBLO welcomes
Education Advocates

Championing first-class schooling where it is needed most. Join us in building learning environments rural children can rely on.

Where advocacy becomes a building

You have spent years making the case for education. This is the point where that case becomes bricks, books, power and clean water on a real site.

Every Hybrid Learning Centre is designed to prove a wider argument: that a rural school can pay for itself while addressing education in the community around it.

The Hybrid Learning Centre (HLC)

The Hybrid Learning Centre will educate 1,000 students (500 boarding and 500 day students) across two schools, Hadassah Nursery and Primary School and Semei Kakungulu High School. Agriculture is integrated directly into the curriculum to enhance food security and generate revenue, while solar power for 600 community homes and water harvesting systems for agriculture and health keep the schools self-sustaining, so every pound invested in education also funds local economic growth.

Learning without limits, for education

Each Hybrid Learning Centre is a hub of learning, sustainability and community development.

Clean energy generation

Generates its own electricity and supplies additional power to 600 community homes.

Water harvesting

Harvests rainwater for both internal infrastructure and agricultural irrigation.

Agricultural programme

A seed, grow and feed programme that secures food for children and staff.

Community commerce

Sells surplus crops, livestock and electricity back into the local community.

Scalable blueprint

A replicable model for breaking cycles of poverty across rural Africa.
